Originally from Los Angeles, William Robert Flanders (known as BB of Salsa Reno) has been dancing Salsa for over 15 years and teaching since 2002. He regularly studies Salsa, Bachata and Cumbia with top dance instructors from around the world and attends many dance conferences to keep up with the latest trends in Latin dance. Recently BB of Salsa Reno was voted "Best Dance Instructor in Reno 2009 and 2010" in the Reno News and Review Reader's poll.

They have recently expanded their school, adding an additional studio with brand new flooring and a breathtaking view of the Sierras! Open 7 days a week from 9am to 8pm, they can be also be found on Facebook! Grassroots Bookstore is a medium sized book store filled with new and used books, music, movies and games. Their new books are often offered at a significant savings and they frequently have used books for less than a dollar. They have a large selection of childrens books, movies, audio books and vinyl records as well. If you sign up for their emailed newsletter or become their friend on Facebook, you’ll be first to find out what the daily offer is…At Grassroots books, it seems like something is always on sale! Though I will admit, their “bag sales” are a personal favorite of mine – where else can you fill up a shopping bag full of books and stuff and pay less than 5 bucks for everything in the bag?? Junkee is open 7 days a week from 11am-7pm and buys clothes from 12pm-4pm Monday-Saturday.

We love Junkee Clothing Exchange because of the unique character of the store and the employees are FAB-U-LOUS! They can help you create a one of a kind outfit or give you some most memorable costume accessories. The trick at Junkee, we found out, is to ask for help! It can be totally overwhelming to walk in and try to find something specific on your own. They have a relatively small staff, so just about everyone knows what is in there and where to find it. Dr. Tom works Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday by appointment. Dr. Amanda works Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday by appointment. The office is closed for lunch every day from 12:30 to 2pm.
